The California Highway Patrol (CHP) recently issued hundreds of citations during a commercial vehicle traffic blitz.
The commercial vehicle enforcement detail took place on February 15, 2023, in the Inland Empire and Glendale areas.
According to CHP, 373 commercial vehicle citations were issued, mostly for mechanical and movement violations.
Additionally, 45 verbal warnings were issued.
CHP troopers placed 10 drivers and 21 trucks out of service for various violations during the one day effort.
CHP asks truckers to “inspect your commercial vehicle for any possible safety issues and ensure you drive in the properly designated lane(s), at the properly designated speed limit.”
