A major freeway in Houston was shut down on Thursday afternoon after a semi truck overturned and lost its load on the roadway below.
The accident happened on Thursday, August 31st in Houston, Texas on the SH 225 overpass and IH-610 below.
According to ABC 13, the tractor trailer hauling crushed cars overturned on the SH 225 overpass, dislodging its load of crushed cars. The crushed cars then fell off the overpass and landed on IH 610 below.

The cause of the wreck was not clear, but no injuries were reported.
The IH-610 south loop was shut down for cleanup after the wreck. It has since been reopened.
