A young woman was arrested after causing a drunken disturbance at a Love’s Travel Stop in Florida early on Friday.
The incident occurred on August 25th at around 3 a.m. at the Love’s in Bushnell, Florida.
According to Village-News, 20-year-old Unika Destina Malikye Vazquez-Flecha was heard arguing with another person in the parking lot of the Love’s by a trucker. The driver who saw the argument called the cops.
When officers confronted Vazquez-Flecha, she tried to walk away from them and refused to provide her name. Police say it was obvious she had been drinking, and decided to take her into custody, but she resisted.
Vazquez-Flecha attempted to pull away from the handcuffs and used her leg to brace against the car when the officer tried to put her in the back. She was later booked on charges of disorderly intoxication and resisting arrest.
Vazquez-Flecha is being held at the Sumter County Detention Center. A hold on her custody has been placed by the state of Kansas.
