Interstate 70 has been shut down near Denver for a semi truck hanging off of the side of the highway early on Monday afternoon.
The accident happened on January 30th at 12:18 p.m. on Interstate 70 at Glenwood Canyon between Dotsero and Glenwood Springs.
According to ABC 7 Denver, both sides of I-70 are closed due to the overturned semi truck blocking traffic in one direction and hanging off the interstate in the other direction.
It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the accident.
CDOT has warned travelers that they should avoid the area and expect delays. No detours had been laid out as of 1:40 p.m. CST.
