Minnesota traffic cameras capture fiery car vs. big rig crash at intersection

Traffic cameras captured a stunning collision involving a passenger vehicle and a semi truck that happened in Minnesota on Tuesday morning.

The crash occurred around 5:30 a.m. on September 19 near Owatonna, Minnesota.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol (MSP), a 2001 Chevrolet Impala was southbound on 44th Avenue at the same time that a 2020 International Tractor was eastbound on Highway 14.

The Impala driver did not stop for the semi, resulting in a fiery crash. The semi truck rolled into a ditch following the collision.

MSP says that both drivers survived and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
