Motorist killed slamming into semi truck making u-turn on Florida highway

A motorist was killed after slamming into a semi truck making u-turn on highway in Florida on Tuesday morning. 

The accident happened on November 21st in Saint Cloud, Florida on East Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, also known as Highway 192, near Bradley Drive at around 4:45 a.m.

According to Fox 35 Orlando, the Publix semi truck was heading east on Highway 192 west of Bradley Drive when he took the left turn lane and crossed onto the other side of the highway and tried to make a U-turn. 

The truck was unsuccessful in the u-turn and was left blocking both westbound lanes of the street. A Honda Accord then slammed into the trailer of the semi truck and became lodged underneath. 

The motorist was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver was not hurt in the incident. 

The westbound lanes of Highway 192 remain blocked as officials work to investigate the incident and clear the wreckage.
