Motorist okay after crashing rented Lamborghini under semi trailer at high rate of speed

A motorist is lucky to have survived a high speed collision with a semi trailer in Georgia over the weekend.

The incident began shortly after noon on July 22 when the Georgia State Patrol (GSP) was notified about a 2018 Lamborghini Aventador traveling at speeds of over 100 m.p.h. on northbound I-75.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, 36 year old Spencer Hyde was behind the wheel of the rented Lamborghini when he lost control and struck a semi truck traveling in the right lane of I-75 at mile marker 329.

The crash left the Lamborghini trapped underneath the truck’s trailer.

Hyde suffered only minor injuries in the crash.

The truck driver was not hurt.
