Officers surprised to find man standing in nearby median after fiery crash into cement truck 

Police were surprised to find that a motorist was not hurt after a dramatic fiery crash with a cement truck in Texas on Tuesday morning. 

The accident happened on January 17th in San Antonio, Texas at around 2:20 a.m. 

According to Kens5 News, officers initially responded to what they thought was a fatal accident on Loop 1604 near Bandera Road. The motorist had been traveling at fast speeds when he lost control and struck a nearby cement truck. The car then rolled and caught fire, leaving a dramatic scene in its wake. 

After arriving at the scene, officers believed the motorist was dead, but were surprised to find him standing nearby in a grassy median, unharmed. No other injuries were reported. 

Officers conducted a field sobriety test on the motorist, who was soon detained for possible DWI. No other information has been released.
