POLICE: Truck driver who fled scene got himself some lunch after fatal crash

Published:

A truck driver was found to have ordered lunch after leaving the scene of a deadly wreck in Arizona over the weekend.

28-year-old Karan Singh plowed through a red light in Parker, Arizona on Sunday, September 3rd, crashing into three cars. One person died in the incident and several others were seriously hurt.

Police investigation into the incident shows that Singh left the scene of the crash after the accident and visited Ruperto’s Mexican restaurant about a block away. There, Singh ordered a burrito and was about halfway through eating it when police showed up and arrested him, reported AZ Central.

Singh is now facing second-degree murder charges and eight counts of aggravated assault. Officials believe impairment was a factor in the crash, but are waiting for toxicology reports. He is currently being held in Arizona on $1 million bail.
