Sleep better, drive better — Find out why Drift’s OTR truck mattresses work as hard as you do

Content Sponsored By Drift

As a truck driver, you know that a good night’s sleep isn’t just a comfort issue — it’s a safety issue. That’s why the team at Drift has crafted a truck mattress that works hard to give you the perfect combination of support and softness.

CDLLife recently connected with the team at Drift to learn more about how they created an ultra-premium mattress with the needs of over the road truck drivers top of mind.

Exclusive Driver’s Edge™ Technology

According to the Drift team, the key to keeping truckers comfortable whether they’re resting or sitting in the sleeper berth area lies in the company’s proprietary Driver’s Edge™ Technology. Many truck mattresses sag in the middle because of the weight of your hips. With Drift, the center of the mattress is specially reinforced with a coil system topped with dense memory foam so that you don’t sag when you sit or lie down, giving you better back support and lasting comfort. The Driver’s Edge™ Technology uses a unique perimeter system to create a more stable sitting surface that’s easier on your back and hips. The patent-pending technology ensures that the Drift mattress won’t buckle underneath you like other truck mattresses you may have tried.

Another big comfort perk — you’ll also sleep cooler on a Drift mattress thanks to the coils and cooling gel memory foam that allow for better air circulation.

The mattress is built to provide both for comfort and long-term durability so that you stay asleep longer and wake up refreshed. In order to make sure that the product holds up to the demands of life on the road, the Drift team tested their technology to simulate a 350-pound person sleeping on the mattress for ten years. The Drift mattress comes with a ten year warranty to back up the company’s commitment to providing you with a long-lasting sleep solution.

How Do I Set Up The Drift Mattress?

The Drift mattress weighs between 66 and 70 pounds and comes compressed in an easy-to-maneuver box. Once you have the box in your sleeper berth, you just remove the box, position the rolled mattress in your sleeper, then carefully remove the plastic wrapping. In about an hour, the mattress is ready to go. The mattress is one sided and you’ll never need to flip it.

Drift offers truck mattresses in multiple sizes to fit different sleeper berths.
