Tennessee traffic camera catches trailer detaching from semi, slamming into overpass support beam

A Tennessee traffic camera captured an unusual crash that occurred in Shelby on Tuesday.

The video was captured on I-55 north near mile marker 8 in Shelby at noon on Tuesday, December 19.

In the video, you can see a semi truck losing its trailer while traveling on the interstate. The semi truck appears to be struck by the runaway trailer, sending it over to the shoulder, while the trailer continues on, striking an overpass support before coming to a stop.
