Troopers share trucker’s dash cam from crash that left Washington highway splattered with eggs

Published:

The Washington State Patrol (WSP) shared a trucker’s dash cam video from an early Tuesday morning crash that spilled a truckload of eggs onto the roadway.

Officials reported the crash shortly before 4 a.m. on December 12 on State Route 18 near the Raging River bridge west of I-90 in Issaquah, Washington.

No major injuries were reported, but SR 18 was shut down for most of Tuesday morning as crews cleaned up a mess of spilled eggs off the highway.

Following the crash, WSP Trooper Rick Johnson shared intense dash cam video of the near head-on collision that caused the egg spill.

Johnson said that there was “no impairment detected” on the “causing driver.”

Check out the video below.

As of 11 a.m., the Washington State Department of Transportation says that both directions of SR 18 between Issaquah-Hobart Rd and the I-90 off-ramp remain closed for the crash.
