Semi truck crash spills lots of eggs, shuts down Washington highway

The Washington State Patrol (WSP) is responding to a semi truck crash that left crews with lots of eggs to clean up off the roadway on Tuesday morning.

The crash was reported shortly before 4 a.m. on December 12 on State Route 18 in Issaquah, Washington.

WSP Trooper Rick Johnson said that a semi truck hauling eggs was involved a collision near the Raging River bridge west of I-90.

A minor injury was reported.

“Lots of eggs to clean up,” Johnson said.

Troopers did not provide information on how many vehicles were involved or what caused the crash.

WSP says that SR 18 is blocked in both directions. Drivers are asked to find alternate routes.
