Trucker leaves rig running, returns to it on fire

A truck driver lost his truck to a fire in Mississippi on Tuesday afternoon. 

The fire occurred on August 15th in Lowndes County, Mississippi at a convenience store on Frontage Road.

According to WCBI News, the truck driver started the truck in the parking lot of the convenience store and then left it running while he took his dog back home. 

While the driver was gone, the truck caught fire, prompting a response from Lowndes County Firefighters. When the trucker returned, the firefighters were battling the flames. 

The semi truck was completely destroyed in the blaze, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation. 

No one was hurt in the incident.
