Two teens dead in crash with semi after 14 year old ran stop sign

Two teenage boys lost their lives in a collision with a semi truck in Wisconsin early Monday morning.

The crash happened shortly before 4 a.m. in the town of Wood, Wisconsin.

The  Wood County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) says that 14 year old Quinton Plucinski was driving a passenger vehicle south on Polish Road when he failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection with Highway 73.

Plucinski’s vehicle was struck by an eastbound semi truck driven by 36 year old Ravinder S. Dhillon from British Columbia, Canada.

Plucinski and his 16 year old passenger Connor Ostricki both died at the scene.

The crash is under investigation by WCSO and the Wisconsin State Patrol.

Responding agencies include the Pittsville Fire Department, Pittsville Ambulance, and the Wood County Coroner’s Office.
