VIDEO: Erratic RV driver plows over cones, nearly strikes semi, before crashing into wooded area

Motorists captured and shared dramatic video of an RV swerving all over the Coquihalla Highway  between Hope and Merritt in British Columbia last week.

The video was shared on June 15 by Facebook user Amanda-Rae Bystedt.

In the video, you can hear two women in a passenger vehicle express growing surprise and concern as they watch an RV traveling in front of them drive over several cones. The RV strikes roadway sign and a concrete barrier, then nearly sideswipes a semi in the right lane while passing.

The video ends as the RV swerves off the road, coming to a stop in a wooded area and apparently catching fire as several other drivers stop to try to help.

While the Facebook post caption suggests that the RV driver was drunk, many Facebook users who viewed the video said that they believe the driver was suffering from some sort of medical emergency.
