A nonprofit horse rescue group was on hand to help when a truck driver arrived with a load of hay that threatened to tip over his truck.
Video of the heartwarming helping moment was shared on August 31 by Junction City, Kansas-based Rainbow Meadows Equine Rescue, who wrote:
“When a stranger pulls into your drive during staff meeting and his truck is about to topple over from poorly loaded wheat hay which is headed to northern Kansas.
Whatcha gonna do?
You’re gonna grab the tractor and skid steer and unload his truck then reload it for him and get him back on the road as soon as possible!“
The video has been viewed nearly 6 million times. Many who viewed the video took a moment to thanks the rescue group for acting to help the truck driver through a potentially dangerous situation.
“As a wife of a driver, I speak for all of us! What you did saved that driver in so many ways and I know he or she is very grateful! Thank you,” said a Facebook user.
“As someone who trucks and has livestock I can appreciate both sides of this. Good on you for paying it forward,” another person said.
“Thank you for helping. I’m sure the driver was very stressed. I feel like he was guided to a place and kind souls where he could get help. Blessings!” said another Facebook user.
