VIDEO: ‘Optimus Prime’ replica truck wows elementary school students

A Pennsylvania man is using his “Transformers” replica big rig to inspire students and raise awareness about the dangers of bullying.

Joe Fiduccia says that he is the creator and owner of the world’s “first and only” full scale replica of Optimus Prime from the Transformers movie “Age of Extinction.”

Fiduccia built the truck in 2016 with help from wife Ania, and son Ryan.

“I obtained my CDL just to drive Optimus. I chose to obtain legal permission from Hasbro to build it. With the help of many, we replicated Optimus using nothing more than photos on the internet of the screen-used trucks. And I did it on a budget,” Fiduccia said in a blog post.

Fiduccia travels throughout the U.S. and Canada in the truck to attend fan events and conventions to raise money for charity and to raise awareness about bullying.

In the video below, you can hear feedback from students who got to see the Optimus Prime truck and hear Fiduccia’s presentation during a school event.
