VIDEO: Trucker takes the ditch to save pickup driver from head-on collision

Canadian police recently shared dramatic dash cam video featuring a truck driver who veered off the highway into a wooded area to avoid a head-on crash with a pickup truck.

The video was shared on Thursday, August 31, by the Elk Valley RCMP.

“Quick reaction to take the ditch by a professional driver in a loaded transport quite likely saved the life of this pick-up truck driver. The almost head-on collision occurred on Hwy 3 near Galloway on August 30. The offending pick-up truck did not stop and was not identified. Any tips can be provided to the Elk Valley RCMP at 250-425-6233,” police said.
