11-year-old boy crashes mom’s car into semi truck

An 11-year-old boy was briefly held by police after crashing his mom’s car into a semi truck in California on Thursday morning. 

The accident happened at around 6 a.m. on October 3rd in Fresno, California. 

According to Your Central Valley News, officers were called to Valentine Avenue and Holland Avenue for a traffic collision. When officers arrived at the scene, they found an 11-year-old boy had been behind the wheel of a Ford Explorer when he crashed into a semi truck. 

The officers soon discovered that the boy had taken his mother’s keys and her car, leading to the collision. 

No one was hurt in the accident, but officers did contact the boy’s parents, who came to the scene to collect him. No further information has been released.
