Dash cam shows what led to truck driver’s impaired driving and open container charges

Canadian police shared dash cam video of an allegedly impaired semi truck driver who is multiple charges.

The video was shared by OPP Highway Safety Division on June 24, 2024. It was captured on Highway 401 in North Dumfries.

Police say that the individual behind the wheel was a 37 year old Woodstock resident who was later charged with Dangerous driving, Impaired driving, Driving a commercial motor vehicle in contravention to conditions, Driving a motor vehicle with liquor readily available and Driving a motor vehicle with open container of liquor.
