Human remains found on trucking company property 3 years after owner’s disappearance

Human remains have been found on the same property where a trucking company owner lived and worked before disappearing in the spring of 2021, investigators say.

The Michigan State Police issued a statement on Sunday morning, August 18th, announcing that human remains had been found during the execution of a search warrant on the property owned by Dale Warner, husband to the woman who went missing. The human remains have not yet been identified, but the family of the missing woman and trucking company owner, Dee Ann Warner, have been notified. The property is located in Tipton, Michigan southwest of Detroit.

According to NBC, Dale Warner was charged with one count of open murder and one count of tampering in the matter of his wife’s disappearance last year. Dale pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Dee Ann ran a trucking company out of barns located on the same property where the remains were found. The night she went missing, Dee Ann had gotten into a business-related argument with her husband, Dale, and a few of her own employees.
