Lines of tractor trailers and passenger cars were stranded for hours in Texas on Thursday as drivers waited for flood waters to recede.
The center of the flooding occurred in Gainesville, Texas on Interstate 35 along the “stretch from Valley View to Gainesville.”

According to ABC 8, heavy rain and tennis ball sized hail hit the area on Thursday. The severe weather paired with construction caused the interstate to become “flooded and impassable.”
Drivers were stuck on the roadway for hours, and captured footage of the incident.
The water was reportedly cleared by Friday morning.
