Man crushed between rigs while directing driver into loading dock

A man is dead after being crushed while directing a tractor trailer into a loading dock at a Illinois trucking company on Tuesday. 

The accident happened on September 3rd at an unnamed trucking company at 11601 S. Central Ave. in Alsip, Illinois. 

According to Patch Illinois, a trucking company  employee was directing the driver into a loading dock space when he became crushed between the moving semi truck and a parked tractor trailer. 

The unnamed man was transported to a hospital in critical condition and was pronounced dead at about 2:30 p.m. 

The accident is still under investigation.
