The Washington State Patrol (WSP) responded to a commercial vehicle vs. motorcycle crash in King County this week.
On August 14, WSP Trooper Rick Johnson reported that a truck collided with the rear of a motorcycle on S.R. 18 near the Green River Bridge.
WSP says that the motorcyclist slowed to allow traffic to merge due to a barrel in the road.
A commercial vehicle following behind the motorcycle was “not able to stop in time.”
Only minor injuries were reported.
“The truck apparently had major brake issues,” Johnson said.
