One hospitalized when race car hauler crashes in Pennsylvania

One person was hospitalized after a crash involving a race car hauler in Delaware Township, Pennsylvania, over the weekend.

The crash occurred at 4 p.m. on July 20 on Route 322 W.

Firefighters responded to the scene and found a race car hauler for Zemco Racing overturned along the highway.

Rescue crews were able to remove the racing fuel from the trailer without issue.

One person was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries.

Sprint car driver Chase Dietz issued the following statement:

Just wanted to let everyone know that the Zemco Racing team is ok after last night’s accident. The guys involved are safe and home. It was a scary situation for all, but nobody was seriously hurt. Thank you to the emergency response folks that responded to the accident. Also a big thank you to Tj and Reece Stutts for bringing their trailer down to help us out. Our racing family is awesome. We appreciate everyone reaching out.
