Raised bed of one truck tips and crushes driver inside of another

One person dead after the trailer of one truck tips over and crushes driver of inside of a second truck at a landfill in Utah. 

The accident happened just before 5 a.m. on Wednesday, May 15th at the Intermountain Regional Landfill in Fairfield, Utah. 

According to Fox 13, two trucks were parked side by side at the landfill. One truck was raising its bed to dump trash when it sunk into a soft spot in the ground, causing the truck to overturn. The raised bed then crashed down onto the cab of the other truck, killing the driver inside. 

The 60-year-old driver killed in the incident has not been publicly identified. 

The Utah Occupational Health and Safety office is conducting an investigation of the incident. No further information has been released.
