A Subway restaurant in Michigan was seriously damaged on Thursday afternoon after a semi truck rolled right into it.
The incident happened on November 21st in Hudsonville, Michigan at 4:49 p.m.
According to WZZM13, a truck driver parked his rig on the south side of a Subway restaurant located at 3196 Corporate Grove Drive and walked to a nearby gas station. While the driver was gone, the truck rolled down an incline in the parking lot. The truck crashed into a parked car before rolling into the side of the restaurant.
No one was hurt in the crash, but the restaurant was forced to close as a result of the damage.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says that the truck’s parking brake was not properly engaged, which is what caused it to roll. The incident is still under investigation.
