Tennessee firefighters are asking the public for information on a recent roadside semi truck fire.
Arrington Fire & Rescue, Station 19 responded to the vehicle fire shortly after midnight on Saturday, July 6.
Firefighters found a semi truck on the shoulder of I-840 at mile marker 42 in Arrington, Tennessee, with “heavy fire coming from the passenger compartment.”
Firefighters were able to knock down the vehicle fire, but “there were circumstances present that has made the fire suspicious.”
Arrington Fire & Rescue did not release any information on whether the driver of the truck has been located.
Anyone who saw the truck or who may have video is asked to contact either the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office or the TN Arson Hotline at 1-800-762-3017. A cash reward of $5000 may be available.
