Semi vs. box truck wreck kills two

A box truck wreck involving a tractor trailer left two people dead in Mulberry, Florida on Wednesday morning. 

The accident happened on May 29th in Mulberry, Florida at around 8 a.m. on Highway 37 south near Four Corners Mine Road. 

According to WTSP 10, the semi truck was hauling phosphate at the time of the wreck. The details of the wreck have not been released, but the incident left both the box truck and the semi truck overturned. 

The crash resulted in a grass fire that has since been extinguished. 

The roadways in the area have been shut down “until further notice.” No further information has been released.
