The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) shared dramatic dash cam video from a semi truck crash that occurred last week on the Cimarron Turnpike.
The video was shared by OHP on July 7 and captured about a week before.
The dash cam video comes from a semi truck parked on the south shoulder of the Cimarron Turnpike.
According to OHP, “the driver of another semi traveling the same direction fell asleep at the wheel and swerved into the semi on the shoulder, hit the diesel tank, sparked and caught fire. That truck was hauling alcohol, which made it difficult to put out the fire.”
Troopers say that there were no serious injuries in the crash.
