A FedEx warehouse located in Michigan sustained severe damage during a Tuesday night tornado.
On May 7, a FedEx warehouse located at Portage Road near Ramona Avenue in Portage, Michigan, was struck by a tornado.
Though the damage to the facility was extreme, no serious injuries were reported.
FedEx released a statement on the tornado strike:
“Our thoughts are with those affected by the tornado in Portage, Michigan, and we are grateful there were no serious injuries resulting from the damage to our facility at 6701 Portage Road. We continue to assess the damage, and we are implementing contingency plans to lessen any potential impacts on service.
