This is the 24th overpass strike in B.C. this year, according to CTV News.
For the past year, B.C. transportation officials have been cracking down on trucking companies and drivers responsible for infrastructure strikes by increasing fines, requiring “speed-limiting systems” for commercial vehicles, and mandating that dump-style vehicles have in-cab warning devices.
