Shortly after 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, MSHP Troop C confirmed that a truck driver had been taken into police custody in connection with a crash that killed a pedestrian in Sullivan. Troopers thanked the public for their assistance in locating the driver.

The truck driver was later identified as Etem Missark, 44, of Florida. He was charged with felony leaving the scene of a crash resulting in death and a careless driving misdemeanor.
