Truck driver shot during during argument with co-driver at Tennessee truck stop, police say

A truck driver was shot during an argument with his co-driver at a Tennessee truck stop on Friday, according to police.

The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Friday, February 9, at a Pilot truck stop in Cleveland, Tennessee.

According to Fox Chattanooga, an argument began when driver Johntrell Riley accused his co-driver of stealing his cellphone.

Riley reportedly fired a single shot at the chest of the trainee with a 9 mm semi-auto Glock pistol.

The co-driver exited the cab of the semi and went into the Pilot, where he collapsed.

The co-driver is listed in critical condition.

Riley was located and arrested by Cleveland Police.

Riley is facing charges of second-degree murder and tampering with evidence.
