The Washington State Patrol (WSP) is seeking public help in locating a suspect who threw bricks at multiple vehicles including a box truck in King County this week.
Shortly before 5 a.m. on July 9, a box truck driver contacted police about a brick was thrown at their vehicle while traveling west on I-90 at Rainier Avenue, according to WSP Public Information Officer Rick Johnson.
The brick crashed through the box truck’s windshield, resulting in significant damage to the vehicle.
The box truck driver suffered only minor injuries.
Two other drivers reported similar brick throwing incidents in the same area.
The callers reported that the bricks came from someone standing at ground level on the right side of the interstate.
WSP responded to the area but could not locate the suspect.
The suspect was described as a male wearing all black clothing and a hat.
