A truck driver was rescued from his destroyed cab after rolling into a creek near a Nebraska rest stop on Monday.
The semi truck crash happened on Monday, February 24th in the Platte River rest area eastbound parking lot off of Interstate 80 near Ashland, Nebraska at around 11:15 a.m.
According to WOWT 6, officers arrived to find the truck driver conscious and alert in his crushed semi truck cab after his rig rolled into the creek.
Crews worked to extricate the truck driver, who was then transported to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.
