Driver somehow avoids sliding right off snowy MN interstate

Published:

A truck driver barely avoids sliding right off a snowy interstate and off an overpass in Minnesota on Wednesday morning.

The incident happened on Interstate 694 at White Bear Avenue on Wednesday morning, March 5th.

According to Fox 9, the semi truck was traveling on an overpass when it started to slide. The truck came to a stop with the cab hanging over the edge of the roadway, and was able to avoid sliding right off the overpass.

Traffic was diverted as crews worked to pull the truck back onto the roadway.

Snowy conditions continued through the remainder of Wednesday morning. Sunny conditions are expected on Thursday, which may help to melt the snow left on the roadways.
