New Tesla semi truck charging station planned for Laredo

A new Tesla electric semi truck charging station is planned for Laredo, Texas according to a permit filing. 

The station will be located at 13602 FM 1472 near the Fuel America Travel Center in Laredo, Texas. 

According to Laredo Morning Times, The project will require a large amount of electrical infrastructure, and is expected to be completed by December 31st, 2026. 

The semi truck charging station will cover 1,000 square feet and cost an estimated $100,000. It is owned and designed by Tesla. 

This new station will mark the second Tesla charging station in Laredo. The first station is located at 110 Calle del Norte Dr. in the Embassy Suites by Hilton parking lot. That location features eight stalls with 150kW.
