Oklahoma troopers unimpressed with pickup driver’s furniture dolly trailer fix

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) recently ticketed a pickup truck driver who tried an unusual fix the trailer they were hauling.

Over the weekend, OHP took to social media with a warning for the motoring public: “Don’t try this at home!”

On the morning of Wednesday, March 19, OHP Trooper Joe Spears stopped a pickup hauling a trailer on the Turner Turnpike at the Kellyville exit.

“The driver was using furniture dollys to support his trailer. It quite obviously was not working. The driver received a ticket for driving with a suspended license and a warning for the defective tires. He called a friend to come haul his trailer away,” OHP said.
