Former CEO of PAM Transport, former employee named President of Knight Transportation

A former CEO of PAM Transport and former employee has been named the new President of Knight Transportation effective this week. 

Knight Transportation named Joe Vitiritto the new President, effective February 2nd. Vitiritto formerly worked for Knight and Swift from 2003 until 2020. During that time, he worked a variety of operational leadership roles. In 2020, Vitiritto left Knight to work as President and CEO of PAM Transport. Vitiritto rejoined Knight in November of 2025. 

According to the Press Release, Vitiritto will focus on trucking company growth; aligning terminals and departments on outcomes benefitting the company, drivers, and customers; and streamlining costs while maintaining safety.
