Former TA now “fully modernized” as new Woodstock TravelStop

A former TA truck stop has now been “fully modernized” and turned into the new Woodstock TravelStop along Ontario Highway 401. 

The truck stop can be found along Highway 401 in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada where the former TA truck stop was located. 

According to The Woodstock Sentinel-Review, the new facilities have been “fully modernized” and “designed to meet the needs of both transportation professionals and everyday travelers.” The site features two convenience stores, a dining area, an ice cream counter, and eventually multiple “quick service restaurants.”

The location is currently open, but the owners are still working to add diesel mechanic services, a dedicated truckers’ lounge, and showering facilities. 

The TA closed at the location in 2022 when TA chose to leave the Canadian sector.
