Louisiana State Police (LSP) troopers targeted aggressive and speeding motorists as well as the usual commercial vehicle violations during this year’s International Roadcheck effort.
LSP took part in the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance’s International Roadcheck on May 12 — 14, 2026.
While Roadcheck is billed as the world’s largest commercial vehicle inspection effort, Louisiana troopers extended enforcement to motorists driving unsafely around commercial vehicles.
“The Troopers targeted speeding commercial and passenger vehicles, as well as aggressive driving behaviors by motorists operating around commercial motor vehicles. Enforcement efforts also focused on Louisiana’s Move Over Law while TSS units conducted roadside inspections,” LSP said.
LSP shared a video highlighting the passenger vehicle and commercial vehicle enforcement that took place during Roadcheck.

The video also gives you a look at some of the most notable commercial vehicle equipment violations uncovered by Louisiana troopers during Roadcheck.
