Trucker blames pothole on I-70 in Indiana for wreck that completely flipped his truck

A truck driver says a pothole is responsible for the crash that left his semi truck on its side in Indiana on Sunday evening. 

The single vehicle accident happened at around 6:45 p.m. on Sunday night, May 10th in Clay County, Indiana on Interstate 70 near the 23 mile marker. 

According to MyWabashValley, the truck driver told police that he hit a pothole in the road, which caused him to lose control of his truck. 

The accident forced the closure of all westbound lanes of I-70 between North County Road 200 E and Exit 23. The interstate was reopened at about 9:15 p.m. 

No injuries were reported.
