White House shares truck driver’s dash cam from deadly California pileup

White House social media accounts shared dash cam video from a pileup crash that occurred in California last fall.

On February 10, 2026, the White House took to social media to share dash cam video from a semi truck involved in an eight-vehicle pileup crash that killed three people on October 21, 2025, in Ontario, California.

The video was widely circulated on social media following the October pileup.

Following the crash, truck driver Jashanpreet Singh, 21, was arrested on charges of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence and DUI, though the DUI charges were dropped following a negative toxicology report.

In the days after the crash, ICE lodged an arrest detainer for Singh, stating that he was an Indian national who entered the U.S. illegally in 2022.

“An illegal alien who was released into America after crossing the border under the Biden admin, kills 3 innocent Americans in horrific car crash,” the White House said a post accompanying the video.

U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy also shared the video on his social media account, along with a statement promising to crackdown on states that allow unqualified truck drivers to get behind the wheel.

“The American people shouldn’t have to pay the price because of the last administration’s FAILED POLICIES. Under POTUS, we’re holding states accountable to get only QUALIFIED truck drivers operating big rigs on our roads!” Duffy wrote.
