Michigan State Police (MSP) reported that 20 to 25 vehicles were involved in a pileup crash in Kalamazoo County on Friday afternoon.
The crash was reported during winter weather conditions on US 131 southbound at at Ravine Road in Alamo Township, Michigan.
MSP said that as many as 25 vehicles were involved in the pileup.
The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) reported that several people were injured in the crash.
MSP said that a cruiser belonging to a trooper responding to the pileup was struck, but the trooper is expected to be okay.
This will likely be an extended closure until at least 6:30 p.m, KCSO said.
