Portland, OR Driver Warehouse Delivery Driver

Delivery drivers ensure the safe and punctual transport of material from the warehouse to the plant distribution points in accordance with the delivery schedule. While the transportation of material is the driver's primary job function, they will also serve as utility warehouse support between delivery windows. This is a high physical job and you must be willing to perform unloading and loading responsibilities.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

Ensure the safe and punctual delivery of material from the warehouse to the plant distribution points across the street with a pickup truck w/ Horse trailer attached
Promotes a winning business culture in correlation with company values by consistently demonstrating service excellence and a professional demeanor
Serves as utility warehouse support between delivery windows by learning a multitude of job functions (kitting, forklift, etc)
Participates in miscellaneous operational duties as required.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Experience operating a truck/trailer combination required
CDL A Preferred but not required
5% driving time 95% warehouse work
Able to proficiently back up, transport, and maneuver 24' trailers with company vehicle pickup truck
Able to comply with company safety regulations regarding operation of equipment
Able to comply with all State and Federal traffic laws and regulations
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
Comfortable working in varying temperatures and environments (e.g., loading docks, storage areas)
Ability to lift and move materials regularly

Pay and Shifts:

1st Days: Wednesday - Sunday
Hours: 6am - 2:30pm
Pay Rate: $27/hr. (OT after 40 hours)
2nd Days: Monday – Friday
Hours: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay Rate: $27/hr. (OT after 40 hours)
