Position Overview

Are you a reliable, safety‑conscious CDL driver looking for a great opportunity?

Universal Logistics is seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers to join our team in the Salt Lake City, UT area. This is a 1st shift, home‑daily flatbed position hauling lumber, rebar, and various metal products.

• Training Pay: $250 per day for the first four weeks

• Lumber
• Rebar
• Various metals

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A tractor‑trailer equipment
• Secure and transport flatbed freight in compliance with DOT regulations
• Perform thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
• Accurately maintain logs and required documentation
• Communicate any issues or incidents promptly with dispatch
• Maintain a strong focus on safety and professionalism

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 6 months of recent tractor‑trailer experience
• Flatbed experience preferred
• Clean driving record:
• No more than two moving violations in the past 3 years
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
