Crash leaves semi teetering from bridge, injures family of four

A semi almost went completely over a bridge when it crashed on I-295 Hopewell Bridge in Hopewell, Virginia on Tuesday morning.

Hopewell Fire & Rescue, Prince George Fire & EMS, Company 5, Company 1 and Company 2 all responded to the scene around 3:30 a.m.

A family of four was able to exit the semi prior to the emergency crews arriving

They were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is unknown.
