The California Highway Patrol (CHP) says that three children and two adults were killed in a fiery two vehicle collision on Tuesday night.
The crash occurred around 9:15 p.m. on December 5 in Fresno County, California.
CHP says that a pickup truck traveling northbound on I-5 crossed over into the southbound lanes and struck a semi truck head-on.
Both vehicles caught fire after the crash.
CHP says that five people inside the pickup were killed, including three children.
The semi truck driver suffered minor injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. It isn’t yet clear whether drugs or alcohol were a factor.
